Tune Your Sound

The included Apex Modules and Eartips each have different sonic characteristics. You can use different combinations to accentuate different aspects of U4s' sound.

mX Module
Widest imaging with a reduction in noise isolation. Sub-bass response is diminished, giving you the ability to attenuate to your preferences based on music type and mix. It is ideally used for recordings that do not capture much sub-bass content while containing a lot of spatial information.

m12 Gold Module (*Not included with U4s)
Developed for those who feel the bass drop between m15 and mX is too drastic. Perfect for tracks where the bass is slightly overpowering the rest of the spectrum. Increases mid-range punch (reduction by 1db-4db at 130hz-20hz.)

m15 Module
The m15 module strikes the perfect balance between bass attenuation and isolation, featuring dual ambient ports that are larger than the single port in the m20. With -15dB isolation and an additional -4dB reduction at 20Hz compared to the m20, it offers a more open, natural listening experience while still maintaining effective noise control.

m20 Module
Greatly increases sub-bass response while keeping the mid-bass clean. Works great for overly bright mixes as it tilts the response towards low end. While
this module shrinks the sound-stage width, it works great for synth-heavy or modern pop music that doesn’t contain much acoustic spatial information. The m20 module also unlocks some of the missing sub information in older rock recordings (increase by 1db-2db at 40hz-20hz.)

Narrows the mix and shifts HF resonant peak down. More secure fit.

Spinfit
Shifts HF resonant peak up. Best at handling microphonics and occlusion effects. The nozzle is decoupled well from the silicone touching the ear canal.

Ushering in a new era of technological innovation, Volür is a 10-driver hybrid universal, building on the heritage of 64 Audio's 1st high-driver count hybrid: Nio (released in 2020.) The heart of Volür is made of 2 new custom 9mm dynamic drivers in a True Isobaric configuration, delivering unprecedented sonic capabilities in the LF band. Linear Impedance Design is a patented circuit that corrects non-linear electrical resistance across multiple driver-sets. Apex®

True Isobaric™
64 Audio's cone-to-magnet isobaric driver config consists of 2 drivers connected by an acoustically inert coupling chamber resulting in better damping, lower distortion, twice the power handling, and extended LF response. A new 9mm dynamic driver was created with an upgraded magnet and Ti Cone to increase sensitivity. An acoustic low-pass filter originally developed for Fourté Blanc was used to further shape the sound.

Each conductor is composed of 24 strands of individually gold plated OFC copper that has a fiber inner core.  These 16 conductors create an IEM cable equalling 18awg overall. The gold 16 uses an FEP (Teflon) jacket that is oil and moisture resistant as well as being much tougher than PVC or PE jackets.

The Gold16 is woven with common mode geometry which creates a jacket-less low impedance effective shield. This enhances the overall depth and soundstage wideness of the overcall cables unique sound signature. The weave creates a cable that is extremely quiet with low microphonics. Quad DAC Mode for True Hi-FI Sound

For the first time in the A&norma series, the SR35 deploys the Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC in Quad configuration. In addition, A&K incorporates its unique technical collaboration between the DAC and patented TERATON ALPHA tech for outstanding advancement in dynamics, space, resolution, and separation. A Dual/Quad DAC switch mode is also offered enabling users to adjust and improve power mgmt. efficiency.

New Generation Amp

The SR35 is equipped with New Generation AMP tech previously exclusive to the A&ultima line, a unique design that improves noise reduction at high power output. The SR35 now contains the same amp design as the latest A&ultimate and A&futura products. Moreover, in order to reliably operate at varying impedances, the output current handling capability is increased to maximize the performance across all devices.

2-Step Gain Mode

The SR35 supports a 2-step Gain Level mode to create the perfect match for a wide range of headphones and IEMs for seamless use of both sensitive and hard-to-drive devices. Both 'Normal Gain' and 'High Gain' modes can generate a high current output to create a powerful sound and excellent driver control with up to 6Vrms from the balanced connections.
