The rectifier converts the incoming power souce to DC current and the RCA 25AX4GT does this while minimizing interference and providing clean power to the amplification circuit. Accompanying the RCA 25AX4GT Rectifier are dual matched JJ 12AU7/ECC82 in the driver stage, and dual EHX 6V6GT for the output stage.

Transformer-coupled, Balanced Drive

The 6V6 output drivers a pair of proprietary output transformers that support single-ended and balanced headphone outputs. The secondary winding of the output transformer provides the alternate phase needed for a balanced output, enabling balanced power from a single-ended origin.

Audiophile Fit offers a shallow seal depth. We've trimmed and optimized the fit, removing the unnecessary length of traditional in-ear monitors designed for the stage. This fit design is exceptionally comfortable and easy to enjoy wearing. This is an excellent fit style for everyday use, from a daily work commute to a studio.

Artist Fit offers a more traditional seal depth to ensure the necessary sonic isolation and added security you need for demanding on-stage performances. This fit style is excellent for the professional musician, extending into the ear canal for an optimal seal.

Unique to our Custom In-Ear Monitors is a patent-pending Solid Body earphone design. Each in-ear monitor begins with your ear impression. Your impressions are first digitally scanned into our system. Through our signature process, we manipulate the interior acoustic chamber of the Supermoon design, arranging it in an optimal position inside the shape of your ear impression. This also allows us the opportunity to optimize the performance of the earphone for your ear.

The result of our effort is a better-sounding, better fitting in-ear monitor for you. When crafting the solid-body of the earphone, the design is 3D printed as a single component before being meticulously hand-finished. Putting the work into the earphone design before the print means the only moving part in Supermoon is the diaphragm. Campfire Audio is excited to announce their newest creation, Clara, developed in collaboration with Rock and Roll hall of fame inductee and member of Nine Inch Nails, Alessandro Cortini. Alessandro is a long-time friend and fan of Campfire and a dedicated audiophile. He has a prominent career as a solo musician and will be touring and releasing his new album in the lead up to the release of Clara.

Alessandro worked closely with Campfire's acoustic engineer, Ken Ball, in conceptualizing, tuning, and styling Clara. After previewing this earphone at CanJam SoCal, with Alessandro in attendance, Clara has already generated excitement in the community and strong feedback in terms of its performance, aesthetics, and ergonomics.

Phase Harmony Engineering

At Campfire Audio, our philosophy regarding driver treatment informs a considered approach that emphasizes quality over quantity. In the arms-race to fit a higher and higher number of drivers into an earphone, we find that a results-driven technique to driver treatment produces superior results; with less room for pitfalls and ever-expanding variables that can undermine product consistency.

One of the products of this approach is our Phase Harmony Engineering, that allows us to segment the frequency spectrum and assign these segments to specific drivers, and allows those drivers to apply their strengths to that area. But it doesn’t end there.

By using a combination of precision-engineered driver housings and shell geometry, coupled with custom damping values, we are able to physically shape the tuning and response of the drivers, and further, their interaction with one another.

This driver-to-driver interaction is crucial to eliminating points of potential phase cancellation and creating the intangibles that don’t show on a frequency response curve; imaging, separation, resolution, and soundstage.

Volür: a Rewarding Evolution

Ushering in a new era of technological innovation, Volür is a 10-driver hybrid universal, building on the heritage of 64 Audio's 1st high-driver count hybrid: Nio (released in 2020.) Joining the ranks of powerhouses like U18s and Fourté, this small package is filled with a massive amount of proven and novel acoustic science.

The heart of Volür is made of 2 new custom 9mm dynamic drivers in a True Isobaric configuration, delivering unprecedented sonic capabilities in the LF band. While 64A's direct radiating tia™ high-driver remains the criterion in HF performance, the new tia™ waveguide optimizes its efficiency while offering greater tuning control.

The outer shell remains the same size with all significant structural changes occurring internally. The faceplate features a sleeker chamfer, and as an homage to the original Nio, a purple abalone chip from New Zealand Paua shells.

64 Audio Proprietary Tech

Tia®
Tubeless In-ear Audio reduces unwanted resonance and distortion for a transparent sound signature. The direct-radiating tia driver is fitted with a new waveguide with special diffusion windows to increase the efficiency and amplitude of the HF band.

LID®
Linear Impedance Design is a patented circuit that corrects non-linear electrical resistance across multiple driver-sets. Inconsistent impedance across varying devices/sources often results in varying frequency response. Restoring proper interaction with the source enables consistent, reliable sound.

Apex®
Air Pressure Exchange is a vent that releases air pressure in the ear canal while retaining standard levels of isolation. This provides listeners with increased comfort, alleviates fatigue, and allows for a more realistic soundstage. The Apex internals for Volür were redesigned to maximize space for the LF bore. Volür comes with 4 modules: mX, m12, m15 and m20.

True Isobaric™
64 Audio's cone-to-magnet isobaric driver config consists of 2 drivers connected by an acoustically inert coupling chamber resulting in better damping, lower distortion, twice the power handling, and extended LF response. A new 9mm dynamic driver was created with an upgraded magnet and Ti Cone to increase sensitivity. An acoustic low-pass filter originally developed for Fourté Blanc was used to further shape the sound.

Rather than constricting the sound of the drivers by fitting a tube onto them, Duo’s complete Tia System reduces unwanted resonance and distortion by allowing the 9mm Dynamic Driver + Tia High Driver to radiate freely into the single large Tia bore with no obstructions to the front of the drivers.

apex® core
Apex Core is a deeper understanding of air movement within an earphone system. Duo’s faceplate features a striking perforated grill that leaves the shell of the IEM open to the outside atmosphere for a less obstructed airflow resulting in an effortless reproduction of music and minimal physical fatigue.

wave sync
Due to the high crossover point between the two drivers, Wave Sync was developed to ensure coherence; another industry first. By using a type of “all-pass” filter, we’re able to introduce a crossover while correcting for time without having to change the physical distance between the drivers.
