Susvara Unveiled

The fully open-back design of HiFiMAN's new flagship planar completely eliminates the negative effects of sound wave reflection, removing the last impediment to exceptional sound quality. It's namesake highlights the Unveiled nature of the depth and inherent beauty of the music to the listener.

HiFiMAN's technology has evolved since the OG SUSVARA. Since the nanometer thickness diaphragm is sensitive to reflected sound waves, HFM chose to further increase the openness of the back of the headphone which was the inspiration for the UNVEILED's removable back panel.

A Worthy Successor

The Susvara Unveiled boasts a silver conductor layer leveraging its highly conductive properties. Window Shade Design

Traditional headphones use a mesh with a lower opening ratio for the grill leading to reflections and refraction detrimental to sound quality. The incredibly light nanometer thickness diaphragm is easily disturbed by sound waves reflected / refracted by the mesh. Therefore, HiFiMAN uses a window shade design to increase the opening rate, maximize the grill exposure and reduce the probability of reflection and refraction. The result: dramatically improved sound quality.

However, this window shade design cannot completely avoid reflection and refraction. Only by eliminating the window shade + grill design will near lossless sound quality be achieved.

Magnetic Veils

Specially designed Magnetic Veils have been introduced to protect the fully open drivers of the Susvara Unveiled.

Due to the magnetic properties of the driver, it's important to cover the ear cups with these Veils to avoid damage caused by absorption of magnetic objects when not in use.

The elegant asymmetry of the SUSVARA UNVEILED's ear pads conform to and fit around the human ear, comfortably distributing the weight evenly yet offering a secure and sound grip. Window Shade Design

Traditional headphones use a mesh with a lower opening ratio for the grill leading to reflections and refraction detrimental to sound quality. The incredibly light nanometer thickness diaphragm is easily disturbed by sound waves reflected / refracted by the mesh. Therefore, HiFiMAN uses a window shade design to increase the opening rate, maximize the grill exposure and reduce the probability of reflection and refraction. The HiFiMAN Arya has become a household name in the audiophile community and for good reason. The latest Arya is the culmination of HiFiMAN's commitment to performance and re-engineering. Never before has a company brought this kind of Planar performance at this price point. Fast, wide soundstage and mind-blowing detail make the Arya a must-listen. HiFiMAN Arya features a driver based on the HE1000 V2 headphones, one of the best drivers on the market, which raises the sonic characteristics to a considerably higher level than similarly priced products.

With an ergonomic design to comfortably fit most listeners, the Arya incorporates unique HiFiMAN features such as the patented “window shade” system that reduces reflections to widen the soundstage. A super-thin diaphragm guarantees faster response and bare minimum distortion.

As with all new HiFiMAN products, the Arya features 3.5mm headphone connectors that are angled at 10°, thereby lessening the pressure points associated with straight-angled connectors. These pressure points sometimes stress the connection, but the new design ensures a solid, reliable and long-lasting link between the headphone and the cable.

Nanometer Thickness Diaphragm

A breakthrough core technology developed by HiFiMAN, it’s the first of its kind in headphone applications. Working with this advanced material is extremely challenging, but the successful incorporation of this film as the Arya’s planar driver is the cornerstone of its remarkable sound.

Advanced Asymmetrical Magnetic Circuit

Years of research into planar driver optimization led HiFiMAN to utilize an asymmetrical design with smaller magnets on the ear-facing side. This reduces interference in sound wave transmissions from the diaphragm.

Ananda Unveiled

The term "Unveiled" literally means "removing the veil." This technology was first applied in the 2024 HIFIMAN SUSVARA headphones. Since the grille structure causes acoustic interference to the diaphragm of the driver unit, the Ananda Unveiled adopted the Unveiled technology to deliver a pure and clean sound. The fully open-back design of this planar magnetic headphone eliminates the negative sound effects of sound wave reflection, an obstacle that impairs sound quality.

Window Shade Design

Traditional headphones use a mesh with a lower opening ratio for the grill leading to reflections and refraction detrimental to sound quality. The incredibly light nanometer thickness diaphragm is easily disturbed by sound waves reflected / refracted by the mesh. Therefore, HIFIMAN uses a window shade design to increase the opening rate, maximize the grill exposure and reduce the probability of reflection and refraction. The result: dramatically improved sound quality.

However, this window shade design cannot completely avoid reflection and refraction. Only by eliminating the window shade + grill design will near lossless sound quality be achieved.

Enhanced Magnet

HIFIMAN’s new Ananda Unveiled uses rare-earth-free permanent magnet materials with a precisely engineered shape that reduces distortion and improves sound clarity. This design achieves sensitivity and control on par with rare-earth magnets, while offering a more sustainable, environmentally friendly approach without compromising the planar magnetic performance HIFIMAN is known for.

2nd Generation Nanometer Thickness Diaphragm

At the heart of the Ananda Unveiled is HIFIMAN’s second-generation nanometer-thick diaphragm, now just 60% the thickness of the original. This ultra-lightweight membrane further enhances transient response, enabling the driver to reproduce even finer details with greater precision. The reduced mass allows for faster, more accurate movement, translating into improved dynamics, clarity, and immersion. 

Magnetic Veils

Specially designed Magnetic Veils have been introduced to protect the fully open drivers of the Ananda Unveiled.

NEO "supernano" Diaphragm (NsD)

The all new NsD is 80% thinner than previous designs resulting in a faster more detailed response while retaining lush musicality never before possible. At between 1 to 2 microns thick, the NsD diaphragm sets all be standards.

The Nano represents a generational leap forward for the popular headphone and features the company’s Nanometer Thickness Diaphragm. Nanometer Thickness Diaphragm Based on SUSVARA

Why do planar magnetic headphones often sound better than traditional dynamic headphones? Since the conductor layer (voice coil) on the diaphragm of the planar is evenly distributed on the surface of the diaphragm, the electromagnetic force that drives the diaphragm to vibrate and produce sound acts much more uniformly than the voice coil acts on the surface of the cone-type diaphragm on a dynamic headphone. Ultimately, the phase distortion is lower, and the spatial information of sound reproduction suffers less loss than dynamic headphones, while providing a much larger sound stage and better positioning.

The result: ANANDA NANO has a wide frequency range: 5Hz to 55kHz. The 3-dimensional sound field wraps around the listener's ears, with the positioning and imaging of musical instruments precisely located, like listening to a live performance.

Dekoni Audio has introduced a new era in ear pads with the new Fenestrated Sheepskin ear pad.

Dekoni Audio spent a lot of time designing and refining this ear pad to be the most comfortable and best sounding velour pad available today.

By using a tighter velour, Dekoni made the ear pad react more like traditional leather so that you don’t lose the bass frequencies or isolation seen in most velour pads, all while retaining the comfort and coolness of velour.

Dekoni designed these pads to improve comfort and isolation, all while offering a variety of options for tuning the sound to your taste.

This is a headband strap replacement for the Hifiman Padded Headband series of headphones. (HE400se, Edition XS, Deva, HE-R9, HE-R10D, HE-R10P) This may fit on other Hifiman headphones but it it unconfirmed at this time.
