The Pinnacle of In-Ear Monitors

With 16 Knowles and Sonion balanced armatures in each side, the V16 Divinity stands as not only Thieaudio’s summit of technical innovation, but also as one of the world’s most capable in-ear monitors. They set out to develop their final flagship model with not only flamboyant internal specifications, but also their most integrative tuning and engineering strategy, culminating in a professional performance unlike anything the market has seen before.

With a comprehensive 5 way crossover system, the entire frequency band is divided into highly defined regions specific for each driver type. This precision, combined with a high driver count, allows incredible details, texture, and richness across the whole spectrum. 

A Full Sound

The sub-bass are powered by Sonion’s largest woofer drivers and have been tuned to cut off at 200Hz, producing a true subwoofer-like experience that delivers impactful and punchy bass - all without hindering the mids. The mid regions have been split into low-mids and upper-mids with unique custom driver combinations selected to best shine their characteristic traits.

The fullness and lush timbre that this strategy allows is combined with a studio-like flat tuning across the midrange, which brings out a next level of definition to note fundamentals without discoloring the sound. Custom Knowles super tweeters were utilized to highlight the shimmery and airy atmosphere within the music and tuned to reflect a harmony between detail retrieval and a comfortable listening pleasure. 

It’s not often that such a high driver count in-ear monitor enters the market, and it is even rarer to find ones that are as thoughtfully engineered as that of the V16 Divinity. This final flagship release is the culmination of Thieaudio’s legacy. 

Upgraded Stock Cable

Thieaudio has improved the physical texture of the cable by using a soft braided paracord material. The V16 Divinity's stock cable adopts the ultra-pure silver plated 26AWG OCC copper litz wires, and with the additional strand incorporation, it gives a slightly meatier feel and a richer sound.

Most significantly, this new stock cable features the proprietary "Smart Switch", a new modular plug design, allowing you to choose between 4.4mm balanced, 2.5mm balanced and 3.5mm unbalanced terminations, simply by swapping out the plug ends. This reduces the need for bulky adaptors, giving your setup a more complete look and feel. The 2-pin connectors on the stock cable are also updated to provide a more secure fit with your IEMs.

A Welcome Reboot

The original Prestige debuted one of the best utilizations of the electrostatic (EST) driver in the IEM market. With a sustained EST output from 10kHz until 20kHz, the Prestige demonstrated the full potential of the EST driver and the treble extension that it could achieve in the IEM format. However, the high ultra-treble output could strain some listeners.

For this reason, Thieaudio has modified the EST drivers used in the Prestige LTD to achieve a more pleasant listening experience. The Prestige LTD features the same treble-extension capacity as the original, with near constant output from 10kHz to 20kHz. However, the high peaks at 12kHz and 15kHz have been eliminated by smoothing out the extension.

Simply put, the Prestige LTD features a more balanced sound signature with tightened bass, clean upper mids, and a natural treble curvature, providing a listener-friendly experience without compromising technical capabilities.

9 Drivers, 3 Driver Types, 5-Way Crossover

Like the original Prestige, the Prestige LTD features the same extensive and comprehensive engineering strategy. 4 Sonion electrostatic drivers + 2 Knowles mid-treble balanced armatures + 2 Sonion low-mid balanced armatures + 10mm dynamic subwoofer are used per each side of the Prestige LTD. With an over-engineered 5-way crossover tuning strategy, the Prestige provides extreme layering and texture across the whole spectrum.

More Balanced Sound Signature

The Prestige LTD has a slightly modified tonal signature compared to its predecessor. With modifications to the 10mm Dynamic Driver, the bass shelf has been tightened to 200Hz. With a better controlled and tighter bass, the sub-bass impact is more focused and faster, helping create a cleaner overall sound signature. THIEAUDIO’s classic flat mids are retained in the Prestige LTD to achieve a professional studio-monitor accurate sound. Besides the smoothing of the ultra-treble, the upper mids and trebles have also been cleaned up to provide a more natural treble curvature. In sum, the Prestige LTD provides a more listener-friendly sound signature that is easier to enjoy, while staying true to its professional technical capacities.

5-Way Passive Crossover Network

The Prestige presents an all-tech, no gimmick true 5-way passive crossover network system. In multi-driver speaker or earphone systems, passive crossovers allow distribution of specific frequency ranges to each respective driver. This allows each driver to present the sound it is specifically manufactured for, reducing overall harmonic distortion and allowing the audio engineer to tune the tonal signature of the device.

The true 5-way crossover networking consists of 11 independent passive components, carefully engineered to deliver a natural and balanced tonal signature. The Prestige is our most advanced crossover engineering so far.

Reference Tuning with Reference Technicalities

The Prestige has been acoustically engineered to deliver a reference studio monitor-like sound signature. The total sound is uncolored, and is deliberately designed for stage and studio monitoring. The sub-bass has been dedicated to a 250Hz shelf to present authoritative and robust impact, but without compromising the overall sound signature. Medical Grade Resin Housing

Each Prestige unit is individually handmade by our dedicated engineers. The housing is constructed from 3D-printed medical-grade resin, which is safe on the skin and durable. The shell structure has been based off of the V16 Divinity, which was popular for its ergonomic fit and comfort during long listening sessions. Additionally, each faceplate of the Prestige is individually decorated and coated, presenting a truly bespoke experience.

Genuine Drivers for Genuine Sound

The Origin features premium drivers from European Sonion and American Knowles. It includes dual Sonion electrostatic (EST) super tweeters for airy treble, a re-engineered Knowles TWFK dual tweeter for smooth upper and lower treble, and two Sonion 2600 series full-range drivers for low-mids and midrange. A 10mm bio-cellulose diaphragm dynamic driver (DD) handles sub-bass, while an in-house 11mm bone-conductor (BC) driver adds texture to mids and trebles that you can feel due to its tactile vibrations.

Big-Bass, Refined Tuning

Designed for bass lovers, Origin boasts a 12dB sub-bass shelf cut precisely at 250Hz, yielding one of THIEAUDIO’s most engaging bass signatures thus far. However, staying true with their mission, the tuning has been refined with THIEAUDIO’s signature balanced tuning. The midrange is neutral for accurate and studio-quality tonality delivery to instruments and vocals. Oracle MKIII: 2024 Updated Configuration and Tuning

The OG Oracle and Oracle MKII were THIEAUDIO’s interpretation of budget tri-brid studio monitors. They were aimed to provide the most professional studio monitor tunings and technical resolutions at the most affordable price. Since then, THIEAUDIO has introduced several exciting, technological innovations into the Oracle series. The bass drivers have been updated to bring a stronger sub-bass presence. The tuning has also been modified to reflect customer feedback from the past two years with a more natural delivery and engaging listening session.

IMPACT2 Subwoofer System

The Oracle MKIII features the latest IMPACT2 subwoofer system from THIEAUDIO. IMPACT2 is a Dual-Dynamic driver system configured in an isobaric design to significantly enhance sub bass quantity and texture. Thanks to IMPACT2, the bass response of the Oracle MKIII is significantly stronger, tighter, and better textured than its predecessors.

Professional Studio Tuning

Keeping in line with its DNA, the Oracle MKIII retains its tuning profile as a true studio monitor. The bass has been restricted to the sub-bass shelf to provide plenty of thump for drummers and bass guitarists, while keeping the mids flat and neutral. Instruments and vocals are perfectly positioned and layered thanks to neutral midrange and a comprehensive 4-way crossover system. The treble has been modified to be smoother than the Oracle MKII predecessor, a common critique. However, the Oracle MKIII still takes full advantage of the 2 Sonion EST tweeters to deliver all of the micro-details and upper treble extension.

NEW Tribrid King 

The original THIEAUDIO Oracle was the Mecca for audiophiles and audio engineers requiring perfect tonal accuracy and precision. It was a benchmark in tuning when it came to mimicking the tonal balance of professional studio monitors. With its absolutely flat and neutral midrange, near perfect treble curvature that compensates for the acoustics of the human ear canal, and a dedicated sub-bass woofer, the Oracle stood as one of the few, if not only, in-ear monitors that could be described as truly a reference monitor.

The all-new Oracle MKII is the next evolutionary step in high-fidelity audio.

The Original Monitor Tuning, Remastered

The Oracle MKII features tribrid speaker technology, integrating an all new 10mm liquid crystal polymer (LCP) dynamic driver, two Knowles balanced armature drivers, and two Sonion electrostatic (EST) ultra-treble tweeters. These five drivers are integrated using a three-way crossover, in which the frequency range of each driver is divided according to their best specifications. The unique passive crossover solution minimizes the total harmonic distortion (THD), ensures the best performance from each driver type, and maximizes the clarity of every note across the whole frequency spectrum. Through improvements in the sub-bass woofer, the Oracle MKII benefits from 62.5% increase in the core sub-bass frequencies (measured at 60Hz) - all while having a neutral midrange in the 200Hz~1kHz band.

Three driver types, Three-way Crossover

The soul of the Oracle is monitor-capability. The Oracle MKII stays faithful to this foundation by retaining its near ruler-flat midrange in the 200Hz~1kHz frequency region. Most in-ear monitors add color to the sound by failing to properly crossover the bass and mid-treble drivers, resulting in a bloated and muddy midrange.

This fault is corrected in the Oracle MKII by implementing a calculated crossover solution that precisely cuts off the dynamic driver as the BA driver starts. The mids are powered by the same dual Knowles BA drivers featured in the Monarch MKII. By delivering an uncolored and neutral midrange, your music will finally sound as the studio engineers intended, and for the studio engineers themselves, the Oracle MKII is among the very few IEMs that will tonally mimic your studio monitors.

Ultra-Treble, Unlocked

The benefit of the Sonion EST drivers is the enhanced ultra-treble frequency delivery. While many manufacturers fail to properly integrate the low sensitivity of EST drivers, Thieaudio has gotten this right, delivering actual treble extensions that can be experienced. The Oracle MKII is no exception featuring one of the best ultra-treble extensions in EST IEMs across the globe with enhancements in the 40kHz spectrum and audible improvements in detail, air, and speed. And the hallmark feature of the EST in the Oracle MKII is its unique timbre. Having been retuned, improvements in detail retrieval, shimmer, and air can be noticed when compared to the original Oracle.

Better Ergonomics

All New Tuning Profile

The Monarch MKIV encompasses both tradition and modernity in its tuning profiles.

Standard Mode
In STANDARD tuning mode, the MKIV goes back to its roots by bringing back a studio-neutral tonal balance. The sub-bass dishes out a whopping 10dB of hard hitting bass, but with a sharp 150Hz low-mid cutoff, the bass is fast and precise, allowing for a clean midrange. The midrange has been cleaned up to be more neutral between 150Hz and 1kHz, while the treble is more crisp and natural. Compared to the previous generation, the MKIV’s treble focuses more on vocal clarity while eliminating unnecessary upper treble harmonics for a smoother and more candid treble extension.

Rumble Mode
In RUMBLE mode, the low-mid crossover is loosened, unleashing a more powerful bass and thicker mids. The sub-bass is boosted to 13dB to enable significantly greater thump and low-end presence. The low-mid range at 200Hz to 500Hz is also boosted by 2dB, giving greater body, depth, and texture to bass guitar, male vocals, and fundamental notes of instruments. RUMBLE is designed for those who love a thicker body in their music and want a more engaging bass.

IMPACT2

The IMPACT2 (“Impact Squared”) is Thieaudio’s tried and true subwoofer solution consisting of two latest generation of 8mm composite diaphragm drivers arranged in an isobaric design. The new 8mm dynamic driver focuses on speed and hard-hitting slam for a powerful, yet clean sub-bass thump. The usage of two 8mm subwoofers significantly enhances the power and texture of the bass, while our in-house isobaric chamber design keeps the frequency and pressure constant. Electrostatic Tweeters

The Monarch MKIV completely redesigns EST driver utilization. By more efficiently targeting the treble range of its balanced armature tweeters, the Monarch MKIV can focus the EST tweeters specifically at the 10-40kHz region. This new crossover technique allows smoother treble transition between the BA and EST drivers for a more natural treble timbre, while simultaneously enhancing EST output into the ultra-treble range. Next Generation Modular Cable System

Enhanced Ultra-Treble Output

The Monarch MKIII has been updated with Sonion’s latest EST drivers and re-tuned to better exhibit their full potentials. Thanks to the new tuning strategy, the ultra-treble frequencies at +15kHz to 20kHz have been increased for a more comprehensive upper frequency extension. Compared to its predecessor, the Monarch MKIII will have a greater sense of staging, atmosphere, and an overall enhancement in perceived resolution thanks to this extension.

Balanced Tonal Signature

At the core of the MKIII is a commitment to tonal excellence. It retains a studio-monitor like tonal signature with a focused sub-bass impact for a clean, natural, detailed sound. Engineered with a true 4-way crossover with 9 separate passive components, the Monarch MKIII stays true to its tonal legacy. Thanks to IMPACT2 , the subbass is punchier, but the mids from 200Hz to 800Hz retain their ruler-flat neutrality. This tonality of the mids mimics the true sound of studio monitors used in recording studios to deliver accurate audio reproduction.

Furthermore, the MKIII mids have been revamped to better separate respective driver ranges for maximum output while minimizing the THD. This means the mids will sound higher in resolution while retaining the same monitor-esque tonality. The treble has also been slightly re-tuned to offer more coherency throughout the region, as well as little more clarity and definition.

The King, Retuned and Refined

More than a year and a half after its initial release, the most popular and praised Thieaudio Signature Series IEM is making a comeback! The Monarch, a milestone for both Thieaudio and the global audio community, has been completely redefined with driver overhauls and enhanced tuning. The original hallmarked not only one of the first IEM’s to properly integrate EST driver technology, but also firmly established Thieaudio’s place in the world of Hi-Fi audio.

Listening to feedback from the audiophile community, Thieaudio has worked to refine what was already one of the most revered monitors of its class to present the ultimate form of the original: the Monarch MK II.

A New Engine for New Limits

The goal for the Monarch MKII: enhance its technical performance, introduce a more balanced tuning, and stay true to the original spirit of the Monarch. Thieaudio embraced the opportunity by updating the internal drivers and rearranging configurations to achieve an even more optimal performance.

Dynamic Driver
The 10mm dynamic driver has been upgraded to a brand new composite diaphragm driver increasing membrane tension and magnet strength to allow for extreme responsiveness. Focusing specifically on the sub-bass frequencies, this driver becomes a subwoofer, producing tighter, more impactful punches. Additionally, 2 dedicated subwoofer BA drivers were paired with the dynamic driver, bringing about a coherency between the lows and the remaining frequency spectrum.

BA Drivers
The heart of the Monarch was always its precise and neutral mids that made it a capable studio monitor. To emphasize this, the balanced armature drivers were reconfigured with 4 mid-frequency drivers. Doubling down on the BA drivers yields incredible advances in technical performance with reduced distortion and enhanced resolution, clarity, and articulation in the mids and highs.

EST Drivers
The latest electrostatic drivers are incorporated, and rearrangement of driver location has minimized unwanted tubing resonance while extending high frequency rolloff. The result is a more even and detailed treble allowing for a greater sense of sparkly, high-resolution atmosphere in your music. The Monarch MKII continues the Thieaudio legacy of being one of the few IEMs in the world to properly utilize EST technology.

Retuned for Balanced Perfection

Thieaudio listened to the audiophile community's feedback about potentially over-emphasized sub-bass by slightly decreasing the volume of the sub-bass while pushing the low-pass crossover from 150Hz to 200Hz. The clean, punchy subwoofer-like characteristics of the lows are maintained without muddying the mids but introduces a slightly warm texture to low-frequency instruments such as the bass guitar. The mids between 200Hz and 1kHz are kept at a ruler-flat neutral. The mid-treble transition between 1 and 2kHz has been pushed back to 3kHz reducing any nasal or harsh vocal textures while still emphasizing the crispness of instruments. Every aspect of the tuning process has been scrutinized and meticulously tested by ear and measurement equipment.

The Stock Cable of Monarch MKII

Thieaudio's cable has been improved by using a soft braided "paracord" material while maintaining the ultra-pure silver plated 26AWG OCC copper litz. However, adding an additional strand provides a beefier feel and richer sound. Also introduced is Thieaudio's proprietary "Smart Switch", a new modular plug design allowing the choice to pair the 2-pin IEM cable to a balanced 4.4mm or 2.5mm, or 3.5mm single-ended termination.

Furthermore, Thieaudio has selected the updated Sonion 26A series driver for the mids. Latest Gen Sonion Driver

The Hype 2 utilizes two of the latest iterations of Sonion drivers. The 2356 and E25ST have been well established and used by many of the largest brands in the IEM industry. The latest generation of these drivers, the P2356HF/4 and E25ST001/D, have been selected for the Hype 2 after extensive testing with different types.

The updated P2356HF/4 has significantly enhanced output with reduced THD, allowing higher resolution and clarity compared to similar BA drivers of its class. Similarly, the E25ST001/D super tweeter provides excellent tone while effectively extending the treble at an audible range until 18kHz. This super tweeter has excellent upper treble performance like the beloved electrostatic (EST) drivers, but with a smoother and more coherent tone.

The Hype 10 was designed from the ground-up specifically for music enthusiasts and audiophiles who want the most engaging and discerning sound. With a strong sub-bass shelf and articulate treble, the Hype 10 brings out the deep rumble and sparkling details in your music. With a near 10dB bass shelf, the Hype 10 punches heavily in the lows. However, the bass has been retained to 300Hz, in typical Thieaudio fashion, as to prevent unnatural muddying to the overall tonal balance. The mids from the 300Hz to 1kHz is flat in order to highlight the natural tonality of instruments and vocals. The treble has been tuned in accordance to the lows, as to carefully bring a little more crispness and clarity to the overall sound signature.

High Performance Import Balanced Armature Drivers

The Hype 10 utilizes genuine Knowles SWFK 31736 series ultra-tweeters from the USA, along with two Sonion E50DT midrange and two Sonion 28UAP bass drivers from Denmark. Arranged in a 4-way crossover with 4 independent sound bores, the Hype 10 makes use of best-in-class drivers engineered with precision for high-fidelity audio reproduction. The ultra-treble tweeters allow treble extension until 40kHz, for an airy and Hyper realistic atmosphere in the sound. Additionally, the combination of the E50DT with the SWFK 31736 driver creates a perfect transition and coherence in the mids and treble, with crisp details, articulation, and layering. The 28UAP series were chosen based on their success in our signature series models. The bass from a dual 28UAP driver configuration produces extremely fast bass hits and decays, which integrates with the deep and textured sub-bass from the IMPACT2 system. The combination of these 10 drivers in each ear produces a high resolution sound intended to mimic professional audiophile loudspeakers.
